starting your own photography biz workshop
A few weekends ago, I had the privilege of sharing a few days with some amazing women. We had a lot in common: each of us is passionate about photography and each of us is wanting to use that passion towards thriving, successful businesses. I shared my story with them. How I went from owning a Canon Rebel with no idea how to use it to creating a full-time photography business.
On the second day of the workshop, we spent some time shooting. One of my fav models and dear friends, Mackenzie (and her husband Daniel), joined us at Krog St. Bridge for a very cold, but totally awesome photo shoot.
I love these shots of Daniel. They are so “him.”
Like I said, it was really, really cold. Mackenzie was a trooper, but while we were setting up shots, I encouraged her to keep her coat on. We all thought she rocked this look as well, which I think says something about her modeling talent!
And here are the workshop ladies! Each one of them inspired me with their passion – whether for child photography, product photography, family photography or lifestyle/wedding photography … and I see big things in their futures. =)

AWWWW!!!! i’m just NOW seeing these pics??!!? I had such a good time during the workshop…..and Monica, you rock!!! ive learned so much from you!

Marie

Hi Monica
I just saw this blog post.. wondering how things were going with you? Have you made the move to Cleveland? I am so appreciative of the opportunity to have learned from your experience and through your classes. I really enjoyed the hands on manner to your classes as well as the new business workshiop. Things are going well for me – still learning and trying to put into practice the things i am learning – but I guess always a work in progress!
I wish you the best in your new journey and again thank you…
