Amy is one of those people who everyone wants to know. And what’s great, is most people in our small town do. During our session, every single person who walked by knew her. And it was clear that they all loved her.

I’d never met Greg before, but after spending a few hours with them together, it’s clear she’s made a great choice. They absolutely complement each other. He makes her laugh and she makes him smile. It’s perfect.

We did the shoot – well, where else? – but around the small town where we grew up. And that was perfect too.

As a wedding photographer, I go to a lot of weddings. A lot of things are the same at each wedding: beautiful dresses, stunning bouquets, hundreds of tiny details that equal a fabulous celebration.

Eden and Garret’s wedding had all of those things. What it also had was two people who were absolutely made for each other and so ready to embark on their life together as man and wife. They started out as friends, and like so many great love stories, ended as so much more.

The night before the big day, I snapped a few quick pics at the rehearsal.

The next morning began bright and early at a local salon.

From there, the ladies headed to the church to finish getting ready.

Eden’s dress was absolutely breathtaking.

I love Eden’s smile as she sees herself in her dress for the first time.

Every single bridesmaid was so sweet and it was so clear how thrilled they were to see Eden marry Garret. I loved it.

I had the girls take a little break after they were done with formal portraits. It’s clear they can’t stand each other. =)

The guys were equally great, and were real troopers surviving the extreme hot so we could get some outdoor shots.

I adore this shot of the girls praying right before the ceremony.

I stole a few shots of the happy couple immediately after the ceremony. They are so completely and totally in love.

We headed to the campus for some outdoor portraits. Now this is what I call a bridal party!

Then it was time to get the party started! The reception began with their first dance* as husband and wife.

During dinner, they played the him/her game … it was adorable to see how their answers matched … and didn’t. =)

After dinner, there was dancing. Lots and lots and lots of dancing.

Did I mention there was dancing?

After a lot of celebrating, it was time to say good-bye to the newlyweds. They shared one last dance.

Before the happy couple could sneak away, I stole a few more shots. I couldn’t help myself – I love people in love.

*The first dance actually got off to a fabulous choreographed start … but that’s for the next sneak peek!

Especially delightful when you’re able to get shots like this.

Their wedding was exactly what the doctor ordered. I’ll tell you more later. I promise. =)
